We walk by faith

Romans 4:18 Abraham hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations. Why did he hope in faith? Because all evidence of him becoming a father of anybody was gone. He was about a hundred years old and his own body was as good as dead. His wife was also past the years of child bearing and she was barren. But he did not question or doubt the promise of God. That faith was credited to him as righteousness. We walk by faith.

Romans 4:23 But the words “It was credited to him” were written not for his sake alone. Romans 4:24 but they were written for our sakes too. Righteousness, right standing with God will be credited to us also who believe in, trust in, adhere to, and rely on God. Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

So to we should not question or doubt the power of God if Abraham is indeed our father. Father in the sense that we are saved by faith like Abraham was saved by faith. Jesus is able to deliver us spiritually, physically, and emotionally from all issues imaginable that affect our lives. Just because evidence of the deliverance is sometimes not there, we still believe in the promise of deliverance which is in Jesus Christ our Lord! Which is faith and which pleases God!

We must faith and push past the darkness that would hinder us and draw close to Jesus. We must tap into His marvelous resources of love, comfort, peace, presence, joy, strength and power!
